Post-COVID-19 world (2020_1_60_001)
Outline
The novel coronavirus pandemic has caused tremendous human and economic damage, in addition to highlighting the risks of a globalized world. Meanwhile, the crisis has revealed significant damage in the most vulnerable areas of various countries and regions. There is a need to build a responsive economy and society to unknown risks such as infectious disease outbreaks. However, many challenges remain. These challenges include ensuring and advancing infectious disease control, smooth trade and investment, the safe movement of people, establishing social safety nets (addressing the needs of vulnerable areas and socioeconomic classes), industrial promotion, and international cooperation. This study group aims to address these challenges as regional case studies, focusing on cross-regional themes and individual regions. Finally, it attempts to explain and analyze these themes, and externally publish its results.
