Latin America Report

Outline

Latin America Report is an analytical journal on the politics, economy, society, and international relations of Latin American countries, published on an ongoing basis as a web magazine. It regularly carries Analytical Essays in which researchers from the Institute of Developing Economies (IDE), together with outside scholars, offer in-depth analyses of regional developments and key themes for which reliable information is scarce in Japan. It also features Field Reports that convey the realities of on-site research and the situation on the ground “right now.” In addition, Reviews of Books and Articles introduce social-science monographs and journal articles on Latin America. The intended readership includes general readers and researchers such as students interested in Latin America, business professionals, policy practitioners, and members of the media.
