The Criminal Politics in the Drug Trafficking Route

Outline

The purpose of this study group is to review the previous studies that have been accumulated over the past few decades on security issues, especially "drug trafficking" in developing regions, and to summarize the issues. We will also identify what has and has not been clarified so far, especially what changes have occurred before and after Covid-19, and what issues have emerged that require attention. This work will help to look at the future of "criminal politics" in countries that have not received much attention in the past, but which have increased their presence in the more global drug trafficking process (production, processing, distribution, retail, and money laundering) in recent years (e.g. Ecuador, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Turkey, etc.).
