Outline
Innovation has been expected to promote further economic growth and transform the industrial structures in Asian countries and regions. As the leaders of these innovation activities, the eyes of the world are on startups in addition to major incumbents making R&D investments. We show the background of the increasing number of startups (innovation ecosystems including VCs, industrial agglomerations, universities, etc., as well as government policies) and innovations in order to examine the recent pattern of economic growth in Asia.
