Starting Businesses and Innovation in Asia（2017_2_20_006）
Outline
In this study, we show the factors behind the recent increase in Asian tech startups and evaluate the innovations of their products. The following aspects are investigated for starting a new business and creating innovation in Asia: industrial agglomeration, startup ecosystem, universities, Silicon Valley, venture capital, product development, etc. Moreover, we stress the similarities and differences of startups in comparison with the growth process of existing firms, as well as position the recent increase of startups in the past development process of industries and economies in Asia.
