Party-military Relations in D. P. R. of Korea
Outline
In the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Il-Sung had been the supreme leader since the founding of the countrry in 1948, and his succsessor Kim Jongi-Il took over and the post after his death in 1994, and Kim Jong-Un has succdeeded him in 2011. One of the reasons for maintaining the position of the supreme leader is the close relationship between the ruling political party and the armed forces. This study seeks to clalify the charisteristics of the relations between the Worker's Party and the People's Army.
