"New Labor Movements" in Asian Economies
Outline
Today, the economies of each country are becoming more service-oriented, liberalized, and globalized than ever before. As a result, the labor markets and employment structures of each country are undergoing major changes. The Asian countries are no exception. This study focuses on the "new labor movement" of Asian countries under such circumstances, and through comparative research, clarifies the current state of labor movements of each country, their characteristics, commonalities and differences, and seek the future direction of the labor movements.
