Impacts of COVID-19 on global maritime and aviation networks(2021_2_40_008)
Outline
The objective of this study is to empirically investigate the impacts of COVID-19 on maritime and aviation networks worldwide. Specific issues of interest include (1) a quantitative analysis of the changes in maritime and aviation networks corresponding to the geographical spread of COVID-19; (2) a comparative analysis of the relationship between the spread of infection and the severity of impacts on maritime and aviation networks; and (3) a statistical investigation of whether COVID-19 has changed the structure of maritime and aviation networks.
