8th Congress of Worker's Party of Korea and New Strategy（2021_1_40_001）
Outline
Eight years have passed since the establishment of the Kim Jong Un regime in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). According to the future political and economic schedule, the 8th Congress of the Worker's Party of Korea will be held in January 2021, in which the next five-year economic plan will be published, and the Supreme People's Assembly will be convened in the spring of that year, in which the institutional foundation for the implementation of the plan is expected to be laid. Meanwhile, with the inauguration of a new government in the United States in 2021, new movements are expected to begin in Kim Jong Un's diplomatic and military policies. In this study, the survival strategy of the Kim Jong Un regime will be clarified by analyzing the implementation system, corporate management system, and the fiscal and monetary policies of the five-year plan, as well as military policies centered on nuclear and missile development.
