Livelihood of the people with disabilities in Vietnam during the Doi Moi period(2020_2_40_005)

Outline

As of 2008, Vietnam became a member of countries classified as "middle-income." Vietnam has realized its importance to enhance welfare to support sustainable growth, and welfare for people with disabilities is one of the important pillars for this. However, we have not yet clarified enough the livelihoods of the people with disabilities, especially those living in rural areas. Therefore, we will examine the structure of the livelihoods of the Vietnamese people with disabilities living in rural areas, based on both the social model of disability and the life story approach of sociology.
