How Do “Innovation Networks” Emerge?: Sources, Issues, and Future Research (2020_2_60_003)

Outline

This project aims to revisit innovation (a novel combination of concepts to solve problems in various industries) focusing on sources of “innovation networks” that have evolved in developing and emerging economies in globally growing supply chains. In other words, what are the driving forces of the formation, promotion, and utilization of these networks? What impacts do these networks have on advanced economies by improving value creation in developing and emerging economies? Through these questions, this project strives to formulate research topics on innovation networks, develop a community of researchers who share the similar interests, and accumulate findings for future research.
