Livelihood of the people with disabilities in Vietnam (2020_2_40_005)
Outline
In 2008, Vietnam joined the list of middle-income countries. Vietnam has also realized the importance to enhance welfare to support sustainable growth. Welfare for the people with disabilities is one of the important pillars of this. However, the livelihoods of people with disabilities, especially those living in rural areas has not yet been clarified. Therefore, we will examine the structure of livelihoods of Vietnamese people with disabilities living in rural areas, based on both the social model of disability and the life story approach of sociology.
