Africa and International Relations (2020_1_40_009)

Outline

Given recent economic growth, African countries have been strengthening and deepening their ties with the international community in various fields. In addition to traditional donners ; the EU, U.S., several international organizations, China, South Korea, and other countries have currently developed closer cooperative relations with Africa. On the other hand, actors in the African region have also become multi-layered in terms of the governments of each country, regional economic communities (RECs), and the African Union (AU). Based on the situation of the diversification of external relations, this study project will consider the current state of international relations involving Africa.
