African Women and International Migration(2017_2_20_003)

Outline

The objective of this research project is to elucidate the current situation of women's international labor migration in Sub-Saharan African countries. While international organizations have recently paid more attention to the social effects of women's international labor migration, there is little existing Japanese literature on women's international labor migration in Africa. This research aims to elucidate the various factors which have prompted African women to choose international labor migration.
