Role of public research institutes in national innovation system

Outline

Aimed at reviewing principles and management of public research institutes, this research investigates the role of public research institutes in the national innovation system. In detail, we select a list of public research institutes that are leading industries and analyze their process and performance in the three steps of the SCP paradigm. Such an analysis will help better understand how public research institutes are involved in innovation of a country. This research is jointly conducted with Taiwan Institute of Economic Research (TIER).
