Public Services in India

This project studies the public services provided in India. It aims to understand how public services have changed since the economic liberalisation in 1991, in such fields as education, medical services, food and nutrition, environment and public utilities. In so doing, the project also attempts to contribute to the study of the service sector in India, which has been the most important sector both in terms of GDP and employment over the last two decades.
