Joint Research on Contemporary Political Communication (2020_2_40_003)

Outline

The purpose of our research group is to consider the reality of "modern political communication" and its political and social implications, based on knowledge and ideas regarding communication as accumulated in traditional political communication theory and adjacent academic fields. Based on specific political phenomena in Central American countries, Turkey, Spain, Chile, etc., we will attempt to elucidate the following questions, regarding which aspect and what kind of “communication” is found, what sort of interaction takes place, how the communications stimulate and activate the political actor’s attitudes and activities, and how they feed back to relevant political phenomena, etc.
