Floor Arrangement
The IDE Library boasts a wide selection of materials and resources to assist research dealing with the economics, politics and social issues of developing countries and regions in Asia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Oceania, and Eastern Europe.
1st Floor
Current journals, newspapers, IDE publications, JETRO publications and reference books are located on the 1st Floor.
Electronic resource, microfilms, and audiovisual resource are also available.
2nd Floor
Books in Western languages and Japanese (accepted from October 1998) are arranged by region and subject.
3rd Floor
Statistical materials are arranged by region and subject.
Books in Western languages (accepted before October 1998) are located in order of classification number.
4th-1 Floor
Books in Chinese, Korean, and other vernacular languages are arranged by language in order of classification number.
Back issues of journals are also located in order of classification number.
4th-2 Floor
Statistical materials published in Japan, and developed countries are arranged by region and subject.
Books in Japanese (accepted before October 1998) and selected volumes of Japanese periodicals are arranged in order of call number.
