International Symposium

On 16 December 2025, the Institute of Developing Economies (IDE-JETRO) hosted an international Symposium titled “Surviving the Age of Weaponized Global Networks” as part of the "Economic Security Global Forum Weeks," an initiative hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI).

The symposium invited three distinguished experts in this field to unpack today’s economic security challenges, addressing the key question of how to survive the age of network geopolitics.
