GDP
The source for the GDP data of each industry except manufacturing is Hong Kong Annual Digest of Statistics, Census and Statistics Department, Hong Kong. The GDP of each industry in manufacturing is equal to total GDP in manufacturing divided by the labor force of each industry in manufacturing. The source of the labor force data is the number of establishments, persons engaged, and vacancies (other than those in the civil service) analyzed by six-digit industry code for 2005, which corresponds to Table E011 on the website of the Census and Statistical Division, Hong Kong.
Population
The source of population data is Hong Kong Annual Digest of Statistics, Census and Statistics Department, Hong Kong.
Area
The source of areal data is Hong Kong in Figures, Census and Statistics Department, Hong Kong.
