Previous research
My previous research mainly focuses on the measurement of capital input, particularly the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) assets, at the industry level for Chinese economy since her 1978 economic reform. And the role of ICT in China’s economic growth and productivity performance has been explored under an economy-wide growth accounting framework.
Current research projects
My current research concentrates on China’s resource misallocation and the measurement of her total factor productivity from the perspective of industry and firm ownership type. For this purpose, a new KLEMS-type dataset for Chinese economy including output and inputs data at both the industry and firm ownership level is under construction.
