Mekong research and dialogue online workshop

How can “data and technology” enhance the governance of the Mekong River Basin? Insights from the MRC project and beyond

IDE-JETRO aims to build a research network to facilitate further dialogue and collaboration among stakeholders with a view to sustainable and inclusive development in the Mekong region. This workshop will focus on the ongoing technical project initiated by the Mekong River Commission (MRC) to utilize a smartphone application to encourage all stakeholders to access climate and water real-time data. We will discuss how such a digital transformation (DX) solution can enhance the governance of the Mekong River Basin while referring to other practices in the region and beyond.
