IDE-JETRO and LISSTAR Seminar on "International Migration of Indian Nurses at the Place of Origin and the Destination"

International Migration of Nurses has increased in recent years. India is the second largest ‘exporter’ of nurses to developed countries and at the same time the country suffers from the shortage of nurses. This seminar will discuss factors affecting international migration of Indian nurses based on the survey in Tamil Nadu and illustrate who, why and how some Indian nurses are deskilled at their destination based on the survey in Singapore.
