Indonesia Update in Tokyo: Political Economy and Climate Challenges in Indonesia

On 25 November 2025, the Institute of Developing Economies (IDE-JETRO) and Australian National University hosted an international Symposium titled “Indonesia Update in Tokyo: Political Economy and Climate Challenges in Indonesia.”

The symposium featured Dr. Bambang Brodjonegoro, Dean, Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), as a keynote speaker for the current state of Indonesia’s political economy. Through the panel sessions, we discussed on three themes, politics, business and economics, and climate change.
