APLセミナー（アジ研パワーランチセミナー）は、アジア経済研究所の研究者のみならず、外部の研究者、学生の方にも参加いただけるリサーチワークショップで、お昼の時間にアジア経済研究所（海浜幕張）の会議室で開催しています。

研究所内外における研究者が研究成果、研究活動の中間発表を行うほか、発表者と参加者、あるいは参加者相互のディスカッションを行います。テーマ、講師に応じて日本語あるいは英語での発表、議事進行となります。

セミナー終了後、受付で渡される「面会確認票」にセミナーの司会者から署名を得てください。

When the share of immobile workers is high, firms might consider that some immobile workers would take a position even if the wage is low. Such a tendency would be greater in a local market with less competition between employers. In this paper, we test such a hypothesis, examining the wage of the U.S. registered nurses (RNs). In the U.S., the RN licensure is by state, while some states join the nurse compact treaty (NCT), which allows the RNs to work across NCT states without any paper works. We take advantage of the existence and the change of such state borders, which would shape the local labor market for the RNs, to identify the effects of the concentration of the healthcare employers on the RN wage.
