APLセミナー(アジ研パワーランチセミナー)

APLセミナー(アジ研パワーランチセミナー)は、アジア経済研究所の研究者のみならず、外部の研究者、学生の方にも参加いただけるリサーチワークショップで、お昼の時間にアジア経済研究所（海浜幕張）の会議室で開催しております。

研究所内外における研究者の方の研究成果、研究活動の中間発表を行っていただくほか、発表者と参加者、あるいは参加者相互のディスカッションを行います。テーマ、講師に応じて日本語あるいは英語での発表、議事進行となります。
——参加ご希望の方は、研究所受付にて「APLセミナーに参加」とお伝え頂き、開催場所まで直接お越し下さい。——
セミナー終了後、受付で渡される「面会確認票」にセミナーの司会者から署名を得て頂きますよう、お願い申し上げます。
なお、ランチとありますが昼食は出ません。

要　旨

Africa has the youngest population in the world, with Uganda providing the lowest median population of 15years. Japan and Germany have the oldest median populations in the world at an average of 42 years. By 2050, Africa will have the youngest active working population group in the world, and will have approximately 2.4 billion people. While technical and vocational skills such as engineering, finance, various artisans, and project management, etc., are absolutely vital and critical in Africa’s current and next phase of development (especially in infrastructure development), it is the leadership skills, interrelationship skills, people-management skills, and other so-called soft-skills, that African businesses, governments, civil society organisations, and tertiary institutions, need to boost, alongside the technical skills, in order to provide the fuel and the glue that Africa needs to achieve its grand vision as articulated in the African Union’s Agenda 2063
