Global Value Chain in Transition IV
Outline
This research project is a continuation of the FY2022 Collaborative Study entitled “Global Value Chain in Transition III” led by Meng Bo. The objective is to prepare and publish the "GVC Development Report 2023" (No. 4) in collaboration with the WTO, the ADB, and the Research Institute for Global Value Chains (University of International Business and Economics). In FY2022, we concluded MOUs on the report, conducted a feasibility study, conducted an inter-institutional collaborative study, and wrote Background Papers (BPs). In FY2023, based on the BPs led by IDE and the BPs prepared by the partner institutions, we plan to write chapters of the report, respond to peer review, edit and publish the report, publicize the results, and prepare the next report (No. 5, 2025) in collaboration with the partner institutions.
