Development of a Geographical Simulation Model (IDE-GSM) and Geo-economic Dataset(2018_1_30_005)

Outline
In this project, we continue the development of a general-equilibrium simulation model based on spatial economics called Geographical Simulation Model (IDE-GSM) with the aim of improving the empirical estimation accuracy, as well as from the viewpoint of academic research. We try to improve the reliability of the various parameters by utilizing the geo-economic data on East Asia for the years 2005 and 2010, and expand the coverage of the dataset to Arica. We also try to replicate the changing population and industry retrospective in order to improve the reliability of the simulation model.
