FY 2016/2017 Research Topic: B-4-02
Regional Vitalization, Internationalization and Innovation: Theory and Empirical Analysis for Invigorating the Economies in the Hokuriku Region

Outline

This research project aims to quantitatively analyze the Hokuriku economies, including the extent to which firms are internationalized, characteristics of industrial clusters and the production and sales networks. The impacts of internationalization are also a target of the analysis. The research project will use the statistically analyzed data to make policy recommendations.

This research is jointly conducted with Fukui Prefectural University, Hokuriku AJEC and RIETI.
