Development of Geographical Simulation Model (IDE-GSM) for predicting the long-term evolution of population and industrial agglomeration in East Asia: Based on the geo-economic dataset 2010
Outline
The Geographical Simulation Model (GSM), which is an economic simulation model based on Spatial Economics or New Economic Geography, has been developed by IDE in cooperation with ERIA. By the end of 2014, this research project aims to update and improve the quality of the geo-economic dataset used in the simulation model from 2005 to 2010, and also develop the model to be more realistic and useful for various policy simulations.
