Joint Research on Contemporary Political Communication（2020_2_40_003）
Outline
The purpose of our research group is to consider the reality of "modern political communication" and its political and social implications, based on knowledge and ideas about communication as accumulated in traditional political communication theory and adjacent academic fields. Based on specific political phenomena in Central American countries, and in Turkey, Spain, and Chile, etc., we will attempt to elucidate the following, i.e., in which aspects and what kinds of "communication" are found, what sort of interaction takes place, how the communications stimulate and activate a political actor’s attitudes and activities, and how they feed back to relevant political phenomena, etc.
