How to Bring Order to Yemen and Restart Nation Building: Its Impact on the GCC Countries (Dissolution of the Nation-state Model in the Middle East — Possibility of a New Regional Order (II) Group 3)

Outline

Since the beginning of bombing by the so-called allied forces led by Saudi Arabia, Yemen has deteriorated into a state of collapse. The more Saudi Arabia increases its forces in Yemen, the more difficult it has become to reach a ceasefire among the stakeholders in the fight. The reason for this is because no party has the ability to govern the people and no party receives support from people in the whole Yemen territory. Federalism has been proposed as an opportunity for reconstruction, but the way to reach a compromise is not clear. We will analyze the impacts of Yemen instability on the Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, and the role of GCC countries in bringing peace to Yemen.
