On Wednesday, October 19, 2022, a delegation from the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS),　led by Dr. Dang Xuan Thanh, Vice President of VASS, visited IDE-JETRO. The delegation met with Ms. MURAYAMA Mayumi, Executive Vice President of IDE-JETRO and researchers studying on Vietnam and the Greater Mekong Subregion.

During the meeting, VASS and IDE-JETRO exchanged their ideas on global issues and research topics, and discussed possibilities for collaborative research.

Following the meeting, the delegation visited the IDE library.

IDE-JETRO will continue to strengthen its research collaboration with VASS and expand the research network in Southeast Asia.
