APLセミナー（アジ研パワーランチセミナー）は、アジア経済研究所の研究者のみならず、外部の研究者、学生の方にも参加いただけるリサーチワークショップで、お昼の時間にアジア経済研究所（海浜幕張）の会議室で開催しています。

研究所内外における研究者が研究成果、研究活動の中間発表を行うほか、発表者と参加者、あるいは参加者相互のディスカッションを行います。テーマ、講師に応じて日本語あるいは英語での発表、議事進行となります。

Using the complete count 1998 Population Census microdata, we examine consequences of Cambodian refugees who emerged around the collapse of the Pol Pot regime (1975-1979). Our focus is the returnees from Thailand and from Vietnam, who had a distinct repatriation process: The former returned through an organized repatriation program in the early 1990s after receiving humanitarian aid in camps, whereas the latter returned through a voluntary repatriation following the regime collapse. Our analysis reveals the whole picture of subsequent economic lives of the Cambodian refugees, exhibiting substantial heterogeneity in displacement impacts between and within the two returnees. Policy implications for refugee assistance in camps, repatriation, and the peacebuilding process are discussed.
