Compilation of Asian International Input-Output Tables: Issues and Extensions
Outline
This study conducts theoretical and empirical investigations on the issues regarding the compilation methodologies of international input-output tables for the Asia-Pacific region that have been compiled by IDE-JETRO (e.g. how to determine sector classification, estimation of trade matrices, how to conduct special surveys, etc.). The study will contribute to more accurate analyses by using international input-output tables for the Asian-Pacific region through identifying the table assumptions, as well as describing the detailed compilation processes.
