Trade Standards Compliance in Asia – Analysis of Border Rejection Data from a Supply Chain Perspective

Outline

The objective of this research project is to assess the impact of regulations/standards on international trade with a specific focus on agriculture and the food industry. The research project aims to achieve the following three objectives: 1) construction of border rejection data for empirical analysis; 2) empirical studies to analyze the impact of regulations/standards on international trade; and 3) case studies on agriculture and food supply chains in developing countries.
