Poverty Alleviation of Women and Children with Disabilities in Developing Countries
Outline
Women and children with disabilities are the target of this research project. We will analyze the correlation between their disabilities and poverty level using quantitative data. Most of the past research on this issue has been qualitative, and the severe poverty situations and relative disparity to the non-disabled counterparts has been discussed. The research will attempt to give empirical evidence to these analyses. This research can also be positioned as an empirical study of the Social Model of Disability.
