Methodology in Gender Analysis

Discussions continue about the specific methodology used for Gender Studies, while it is widely recognized that gender perspectives play a critical role in economic and social research and analyses. This study, which examines discussions about the methodologies for Gender Studies, is considered as the first step to developing a theoretical basis for a future research project related to gender in developing countries.
The specific research activities are to be as follows: 1) Examination of the historical trajectories of discussions about methodology in Gender Studies, and 2) Review of several case studies to understand how specific methods have been utilized for field studies related to gender. We plan to invite academic scholars for practical discussions based on the specific case studies that they have been involved in.
