Studies on Macroeconometric Models for Policy Evaluations
IDE has been a leading research organization for analysis and forecasting of the macroeconomy of developing countries with macroeconometric models. In this research, the historical development of macroeconometric models for developing countries is studied, with special reference to the applications of policy evaluation for development cooperation. The scope of the study includes not only East and South East, Asian countries, but also least developed Asian countries. The study also pays special attention to the application of the macroeconometric models for evaluations of policy issues in development cooperation such as development assistance, population aging, and environmental issues.
